SocialSpark brings forth new friend from Hungary
I started blogging few months ago and so I consider myself a newbie at blogging. But I’m determined to give it my best shot. I haven’t got many friends on the net yet. I’m still striving with my social networking. I think I’m not so good when it comes to this. Anyway, when my sis informed me about SocialSpark, I remembered immediately signing up for their Beta version more than a month ago.
After the sign up, I spent a day looking at the list of bloggers. I started my new adventure in socializing over the net. I tried to search for bloggers who would be willing to accept my friendship request. I would safely settle for mommy bloggers like me. I recalled choosing a new friend from Hungary coz we already bought three cell phones in Finland and they were all made in Hungary. Frankly, I shy away when it comes to social networking. In fact SocialSpark is my first try in this media. Now, I’m happy to share that I have been gaining new friends and still receiving new friend requests. I created a profile over there at signup. So if you want to know more about the blogger behind Cookietravels.com, you can take a look at this profile.
Since SocialSpark is a social marketing network where bloggers and advertisers meet, it’s good in a sense that you can communicate directly with the advertisers. However, I feel that advertisers can become selective when it comes to giving opportunities coz they can see a blog’s rating and ranking. I’m not so sure about this tough. But I sense that you might not be able to get much opportunity in the marketplace if your blog is not yet popular. Or maybe there are just too many bloggers and relatively fewer opportunities to accommodate the demands. I experienced that there’s always a queue for a slot and waiting time is too long, and before you knew it, the slot you reserved is not open anymore. But if you are a seasoned publisher wanting an advertiser, then this is the right place for you. You can do business with them here. You might even be able to get an advertiser to sponsor your blog. But in my case, I suppose this will be more on social networking and exposure for now.
