Mobile Phone: Handy Travel Buddy

Published by cookietravels at 4:54 pm under technology, trip essentials

I consider my mobile phone a trip essential. It’s a handy travel buddy. Not only can one communicate with family and friends thru it, mobile phones can prove handy to travel bugs in many ways if it has the needed features.

Take for instance a phone with camera. If you forgot to bring your camera, did not bring your camera or simply ran out of battery while traveling, this kind of phone can save the day. This happened to me few times. Those where the few times when I didn’t bring a camera with me and while I was walking I saw an event worth taking a shot.

Another use of mobile phone with GPS could be for location tracking. My brother-in-law recently purchased such kind of mobile phone and it was a trip essential when he and family toured Germany.

And then there is this growing number of mobile phones that are capable of surfing the internet coz of the high speed of mobile internet brought forth by 3G technology? This would be great especially for travelers who would like to check emails while on the go.

As technology grows, there are many features added in a phone that travel bugs might want to benefit from. For latest news on mobiles, articles, and reviews, you can check out SJA Mobile.
