Finding the right accommodation is sometimes time consuming and getting quite confusing with the number of deals, cheap hotels, apartments and even home style accommodations to choose from.
I noticed that renovated homes especially near the beach and apartment type of accommodation has been getting attention to budget travelers coz of its cheaper price compared to hotels. So if you are thinking of investing into a different type of accommodation, targeting the budget traveler schumacher homes can do a great job. They build homes according to your requirement at a less expensive price compared to other builders. The quality of work is evident from the materials used. You can read more from customer reviews.

Zurich, is one of the world’s great cities in Switzerland worth visiting. Someday I might be able step in this beautiful city. Ah dream destination.
The Old Town in Zurich would take days to tour, and there’s also the St. Peter’s Church, built in the 13th century, the Swiss National Museum, the Zurich Toy Museum, and more sights to see. Since a weekend is not enough to explore this city, staying in one of Zurich hotels is a must. Here are two travel budget hotels (as what they are classified) you might want to check:
1. Hotel du Theatre - located in the city center of Zurich, 600 meters from the famous Bahnhofstrasse shopping street, 300 meters away from Zurich’s main train station, and ten kilometers from Zurich Airport (ZRH). Great Customer review but a bit pricey at $224 based on Tripadvisor’s average price.
2. Bristol Hotel - located in a quiet street in the city center of Zurich, less than 500 meters from Bahnhofstrasse shopping street and the Limmat River, 400 meters from Zurich’s main train station, and 100 meters away from the Stampfenbach Platz tram stop. Price ranges from $158.50 to $382.46 at SeeYourHotel dot com.
Quoting a review from a New York traveler:
Hotels in Zurich are extremely (and absurdly, in my opinion) expensive, so you don’t have much to choose from in the budget domain.
Hope this helps. And good luck in your travel budget hotel hunting in Zurich.

San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua © Wikipedia
Nicaragua, the largest country in Central America, is blessed to have coastlines on the Caribbean Sea in the east and on the Pacific Ocean in the west. This gives us a good understanding that Nicaragua is a perfect destination for a beach holiday. There is an alluring fishing village located on the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua where you can enjoy your holiday. If you are into surfing, this place is at the center of famous Nicaraguan surfing beaches. The place is San Juan del Sur. A trip to San Juan del Sur would take you about 2 1/2 hours from Managua, the capital city, or roughly 1 1/2 hours journey from the colonial city Granada, or just 40 minutes away from the border of Costa Rica.
For your accommodation needs, you can book for Nicaragua hotels online. You can search for hotels in Nicaragua that are within your budget and near the beach. Or if you want a simple, cheap yet cozy place, there are San Juan del Sur bed and breakfast accommodations available.
La Posada Azul Hotel might be the accommodation you need, located just steps from the beach. It is a historic, wooden home converted into an elegant boutique inn by the beach. All the rooms have private baths, hot water, electric fans, and air conditioning. Full breakfast is served at the large porch. There is also a swimming pool situated in the hotel’s private tropical garden. If you are looking for adventure, the hotel staff can arrange adventure tours like surfing, fishing and volcano exploration. Adventure, beach, boat watching, relaxing room, all these will make your Nicaragua beach holiday unforgettable.

It’s now summertime in Europe, a wonderful time to mull over traveling. One can spend his/her summer holidays in some of the most popular destinations in this continent such as France and Spain, visiting several popular tourist attractions as enumerated: the Eiffel Tower - one of the most famous landmarks in the world, the impressive Gothic Notre Dame Cathedral or the “must see” Chateau de Versailles - home of the Sun King Louis XIV in France; explore the Museo del Prado and the enormous Palacio Real in Madrid; or tour the most famous boulevard in Barcelona, La Rambla, and the Montjuïc Castle, for a beautiful panorama view of the city. Right now my cutie sis and parents are cramming up their time for some touring around nearby Schengen states before my parents will be departing back to the Philippines on Friday. So yesterday they went to Austria and today in Germany. Whew! I could even suggest for them to visit Switzerland but it is not yet part of the Schengen agreement so they need to have visa in order to go there.
As one of the world’s famous cities, I would love to visit Geneva in Switzerland, noted as the headquarters of the United Nations. As I was thinking about it, had my parents got more time, they could have stayed in a hotel in Vienna and Berlin for few more days to enjoy more of the sights in a relaxed pace. However, they have two more days left in Europe so it was a one day sightseeing in Vienna and another one day visit in Berlin. But thanks to the availability of one day tour cards in these countries, my parents were able to conveniently tour the tourist spots before their flight back home. Cramming yeah!

Well, finding a hotel in Helsinki was not a problem coz hubby was able to book online in the hotel we used to stay last Christmas when we went to Helsinki. However, the booking was non guaranteed coz this time they won’t accept a debit card. In this case, you have to pay when you check-in and you’re not assured that you get the room. Since we didn’t pay yet, non guaranteed booking turned out to be a blessing coz there was a change in travel plans later in the evening.

This morning, I went with my mom and two sisters scouting for souvenirs. Afterwards, I had to hurry up to a travel agency to book for the Helsinki hotel accommodation of my parents and sisters, who will be going back to Prague after a more-than-three-week vacation here in our place in Pori. Their flight will be on Tuesday but they will go early Monday and stay overnight in the capital city so they can have time to go sightseeing.
There wasn’t any available rooms in our favorite hotel, so I went home still trying to figure out an alternative. But guess what? My hubby got the booking online, that’s life. Thank You Lord!

I wonder why I’m into medieval thing today. I visited mom’s blog this morning and she was mentioning about their visit to medieval and fascinating Cesky Krumlov last week. Then here I am recently posting about a Medieval Market event this June in Turku, with the continuation of that post still underway.

I was browsing Yyteri website to check for activities in this beach resort and I saw that they have camping accommodations and facilities in and around the area. The excitement in my previous post is starting to kick in.
Top Camping Yyteri is one of the camping accommodations we can book. They have summer cottages for 2-4 persons and winter-equipped cottages for 2-4 or 4-6 persons. Prices are a bit higher during summer (1 June – 31 August). To give you an idea about cottages prices, the basic summer cottages during summer which includes seeping capacity for 2-4 persons, a cooker, and refrigerator is at 45 €/day. For winter-equipped cottages, prices range from 75 €/day, 85 €/day and 100 €/day coz it has more room facilities like kitchen, shower, toilet, sauna, television, and telephone depends on the type of cottage. For all kinds of cottage however, prices include mattresses, pillows and blankets. There will be an additional fee for sheets (5 €) and towels (2 €) if requested so you can bring you own towel or sheets if you want.
If you are bringing a caravan or mobile home (10-12 €/night including electrical connection), or want to enjoy a basic camping experience with tents (8 €/night or 10 €/night if with vehicle), there are camping sites designated for these at a basic fee. Thus, the total camping fee will be the basic fee plus the additional personal fee of 3 €/night for adults and 1 €/night for child. Amenities like electrical connection (1 €/night), washing machine (4 €/use), sauna (11 €/50 min/family) and fireplace room (5 €/50 min) are also available.
Now that you have an idea of how much a camping will cost at Top Camping Yyteri, you might want to visit their website to choose the type of accommodation and facilities you need and eventually make a booking. You can also check the website for updated pricelist, driving directions, map of Yyteri, weather updates or view of Yyteri beach thru a webcam.
